Nick, Mike, Jake, and Carl all added 2 RBIs a piece, while Tyler added 4 to help his own cause in the 14-0 win at home.

Errors cost the Hawks as 7 errors led to 6 unearned runs, and the 8-1 loss. Tyler Burger took the loss going 5 innings and striking out 3. At the plate Will Corn had 3 hits including 2 doubles, and Carl Nelson and Donald Giebel add 2 hits a piece. Picking up the lone RBI was Carl Nelson driving in Mike Mercado.

HBR beat Serena is great LTC battle with 4 lead changes threw out the game and the winning run at the plate in the 7th for Serena. Christian Johnsen pitched a complete game (7 in, 9k,5h,4BB, 4ER) picking up the win. Zach Michels went 4-4 with 4RBI and Luke Winkle went 1-3 with 2RBI and both men came up big with 2 out hits.

Dutch Schnemann picked up his 1st win of the season shutting out LaMoillle in 5 innning (11K, 2H, 1BB). Mitch Ruh lead the Royals going 4-4, 4 RBI, 2 2B. The Royals move to 5-0 in LTC and 8-9 overall.

Hiawatha stormed back after trailing 3-2 heading into the bottom of the 5th to win 13-3 in 6 innings. Tyler Burger picked up the win, going the distance while striking out 9 and giving up only 1 earned run. At the plate Will Corn was a triple shy of the cycle and added 4 RBIs, Nick Doolittle had 3 hits and drive on 2, Jake Simmons and Grant Nelson added 2 hits a piece. The win moves the Hawks to 3-3 in conference.

The Hawks battled back from a 4 to 1, and then 6 to 2 deficits to defeat Paw Paw 13 to 11 Friday. The Hawks banged out 15 hits, coming from 9 different Hawks. The win moves the Hawks to 5-9 (4-3 in LTC)
Eight different Hawks scored runs in the game, and 7 different Hawks had RBIs in the game. The winner was Mike Mercado who came in relief, and picking up the save
was Tyler Berger. Hitting stars were Will Corn who went 3-3 with 3 RBIs, Tyler Burger who also had 3 RBIs and was a homer short of the cycle, Ed Canchola who had 2
RBIs, and Donald Giebel who had 2 RBIs and drove in the winning run. The Hawks also had their first game of the season error free.

The Nelson brothers, Grant and Carl, each had 2 hits, Carl driving in the only 2 runs of the game for Hiawatha. The loss drops the Hawks to 4-5 in Little Ten play for the season.

With 4 frshmen starting, 5 ended up playing, the Hawks battled but came up short against IC. Will Corn was a triple short of the cycle, and drove in 2 runs. Carl Nelson drove in the other Hawk run.

The Hawks won 11-8 against Paw Paw, as Donald Giebel threw a complete game to get the win. Coming through with big hits were Nick Doolittle who went 4-4 with 3 runs scored, Will Corn who went 3-3 with 2 RBIs, Mike Mercado and Ed Canchola who each had 2 hits and 3 RBIs each, and Grant Nelson who went 3-3 with 2 runs. The defense was perfect with no errors in helping Donald to the win.

The Hawks started the first game of the double header with a 7-2 win. Picking up the victory was Tyler Burger, who pitched a complete game giving up only 5 hits, 2 earned runs, and struck out 4. Helping seal the game with solid defense was Levi Novotny who made a sliding catch in center in the 7th, and Ed Canchola who had numerous solid plays at 3rd. At the plate Tyler Burger helped his own cause with 2 RBIs, 2 hits, and a run scored, and Grant Nelson who also drove in 2 runs and had the only extra base hit of the game for the Hawks with a double.

The Hawks took both games of the double header with a 8-3 win. Mike Mercado pitched a complete game giving up only 1 earned run, 4 hits, struck out 6, and walked none. At the plate Allen Letterer had 3 hits, including a double, and Ed Canchola and Will Corn each had 2 hits. Ed Canchola, Mike Mercado, and Tyler Burger all had 2 RBIs each.

The Hawks played thier best defensive game of the year, but walks doomed the defense as 14 walks, and 2 hit batters, led to 6 of the Hinckley runs. Taking the loss was Will Corn. At the plate Will Corn did have 3 hits, scored a run, and drove one in, Tyler Buger and Mike Mercado also had 2 hits. Carl Nelson came in for relief and pitched 2 and 1/3 of scoreless ball.

The Hawks battled back to win against HBR 4-2. The Hawks came back twice to battle to the win, (8-8 Little Ten). Mike Mercado got a ND, but gave up only 1 earned run, 2 total, while striking out 5, walking only 1 in 5 and 1/3 innings. At the plate Mike also drove in the game trying run in the 6th. Will Corn came in to help on the mound with 1 out in the 6th and with runners on 2nd and 3rd. He struck out the first batter, and induced the next batter to ground out ending the inning. In the top half of the 7th Will was able to strike out 2 of the 4 hitters he faced to end the game and pick up the win. At the plate Will had a hit and a run scored and Nick Doolittle had 2 hits, driving in the go ahead and insurance run in the bottom of the 6th.
